How much does it cost to hire a Walmart or eBay VA?

Short answer: there is no single price. Terms are agreed per client in their agreement, and they differ by platform — because no two stores are the same size, at the same stage, or on the same model. Anyone who quotes you one flat number for every store has not looked at your store yet.

What actually affects the cost

• The platform. Walmart, eBay, Amazon, TikTok Shop and Mercari each work differently — the daily work, and the costs around it, are not the same.
• The model. Two-Step buys after the sale. Ready-to-Ship has no upfront stock cost. FBA Wholesale needs capital for a first inventory order. The model you pick changes the maths completely.
• Store size and stage. A new store needs setup; a running store needs daily management. A store doing 50 orders a month is a different job from one doing 5,000.
• How much daily work there is. Listings, orders, buyer messages, account health — the more of it, the more of the team it takes.

What you do not pay for upfront

Under Ready-to-Ship there is no upfront stock cost — the stock belongs to the warehouse partners and you pay only when an item sells. Under Two-Step, you buy only after a customer has already bought from you — no big upfront stock purchase. What you do pay for, plainly: product cost, label cost and marketplace referral fees come out before net profit is calculated.
